
A simple step-by-step of how we’ll work together.
I know, opening up to a stranger can be intimidating. I get it. I’ve been there. Let’s talk about what you will experience in a two hour session.
Each session is designed to help you shift the emotional patterns, memories, and beliefs that may be limiting your peace, clarity, or personal growth. We’ll begin with a brief intake, where I’ll ask questions about the issue you’re experiencing, how it’s been showing up in your life, and what you’d like to achieve as a result of our work together. There’s no need to overthink this part — it’s simply a conversation that helps me identify your emotional threads and limiting beliefs.
When you sign up, I’ll ask you to fill out a short intake form about what you want to work on, but our first conversation will flesh out what’s going on inside of you. I’ve worked with a lot of people (including myself), so when I say you’ll receive zero judgment, I mean it. We’re all human — and we all have human experiences, every day.
Note: If there’s something you don’t want to share, that’s okay — we can still work on it. You don’t need to tell me every detail. You just need to notice what’s happening inside of you, and I’ll guide the process from there.
Once I understand the structure of your problem, we’ll get to work. I’ll have you focus your attention on the memories, emotions, or beliefs we discussed and feel how they affect you. Then I’ll begin shifting your focus away from the problem and systematically deconstructing its root causes.
During this process, we’ll likely use tapping to break your brain’s trance states. However, please note: my techniques are not EFT-based. They’re drawn primarily from the work of Richard Bandler and John Grinder (NLP), Robert Smith (Eutaptics), and Lary Nims (BSFF).
If you’ve explored my site, you know that memories are forms of trance. But trances aren’t what most people think — they’re simply extreme states of focus.
Of course, there are both good and bad trances. Think of a bad trance like an app you downloaded that’s gone haywire. Together, we can go in and change the code — thanks to one foundational principle of the human mind:
Neurons that fire together, wire together.
This is the key. It’s the reason why we can change memories and beliefs at will.
Throughout our session, you’ll notice that I actively ask you to think about certain things at key points. That should tell you something important: I’m just a guide. You are the one making the changes.
While we’re actively changing the contents of your memories and mind, some of the questions I ask or things I say might make you feel uncomfortable. That’s part of the process. I’m not trying to reinforce your discomfort or walk you through exposure therapy — quite the opposite. I’m helping locate all the places your brain has stored unwanted information. Once we find it, we can change it. That’s the goal of every session.
To be clear: my job is not to make you feel uncomfortable — it’s to leave you in a better place, with the metaphorical monkey off your back. When you leave, you’ll have noticeable, measurable results. In fact, one of my personal goals is to have you laughing and smiling as often as possible during each session.
In the words of Friedrich Nietzsche:
“One does not kill by anger but by laughter.”
As we near the end of the session, we’ll begin to focus on your desired outcome — meaning the way you’d like to feel — so you leave with a sense of clarity, empowerment, optimism, and inner peace.
Most sessions last around two hours and take place online via Zoom. I’ll show you how to work on yourself between sessions using the same techniques, and I’ll provide follow-up homework to reinforce the changes we create together.
